Story

In Vino Veritas translates to, “in wine, there is truth.” This sculptural vessel pays homage to Bacchus, the ancient Greco- Roman god of wine and creativity. The statement bulbous amphora is a nod to a vessel of wine and fertility. Wear it to inspire an abundance of creativity on all your adventures.

Responsibility

At Alighieri, we believe in creating forever heirlooms. This piece is carved by hand, then cast in 100% recycled ecosilver a stone's throw from our studio in Hatton Garden. We source our recycled ecosilver from Cooksongold, our supplier of precious metals who are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. Our small, family-run caster has been our partner since the very inception of the brand - every step of our process is driven by human beings and their stories, from Dante to Rosh to our A-team... to you.
