The Castaway Belt is handcrafted from 24kt gold plated bronze and freshwater cornflake pearls, in Hatton Garden, London.

At Alighieri, we believe in creating forever heirlooms. This piece is hand-crafted with care and love in our Hatton Garden studio by our talented makers, with each pearl deliberately placed and secured with precious metal. The single filament is carved by hand, then cast in bronze and plated in gold a stone's throw from our studio in Hatton Garden. The bronze used in this manufacturing process is fully recycled, with all excess metal going back into the cycle of creating tomorrow's forever piece. Our small, family-run caster has been our partner since the very inception of the brand; our supplier of pearls is committed to animal welfare. Every step of our process is driven by human beings and their stories, from Dante to Rosh to our A-team... to you.
