The second Alighieri Man collection is an exploration of what it means to be a hero in the modern day world. “The Lost Day” highlights that heroism and adventure come in many different forms. The story shines a light on the many subsections of heroism: with it comes loss, pressure and darkness.
The collection is inspired by a myriad of heroes. From Dante, whose story is one of a man lost in a dark wood, to Sir Edmund Hilary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first men to summit Mount Everest in the 1950s. The perilous journeys force them to challenge the mountains of the mind.
After two years of lost days, this collection is an invitation to explore what it means to be a hero this summer. “The Lost Day” collection encompasses precious black rhodium plating for the first time and features a group of symbolic necklaces; an old dice, a mountain’s crevice, a cross-like medieval sword, and a Roman key which is an invitation to unlock your own narrative.
Modern Heirlooms to bring you all good things on your adventures.
