The Clessidra Diamond Vessel is inspired by the most ancient instrument of measuring time: the water clock (clepsydra, in ancient Greek). This ancient instrument was transformed over the centuries into the hourglass shape we now know as the sand timer. 

A natural oval-cut champagne diamond is set in the Clessidra's molten gold vessel to mark a moment in time. Hand-carved in wax, and cast through the ancient craft of lost-wax casting, the Clessidra Diamond Vessel is an ode to the beauty of taking one's time. 

It sits on a 26 inch chunky antique chain, and plated in Alighieri's signature 24kt gold-plating.
